Wonders of Wetlands

Watch the Lunch and Learn video here

Watch This - Wetlands

There are so many great videos to watch about wetlands! We like this one from Bill Nye, PBS's Dialogue for Kids on Wetlands, and then this one and this one, from National Geographic and Nat Geo Kids, specifically about the Florida Everglades.

Craft Activity - Paper Alligator

Grab some green and white paper, scissors and glue to make this adorable paper chain Alligator

Read This - Everglades National Park

Did you know the Everglades is a National Park? It was created in 1934, and has helped protect the animals and habitats in that area ever since. Younger students may want to read more here, while older students and adults may enjoy here

Wetland Conservation from Florida Audubon

In the heart of the Everglades ecosystem you'll find Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, our sister Audubon Nature Center in Florida. No visit to south Florida is complete with out a romp through the swamp!
