Spring Break Raptor Camp 2025
Get ready for Spring Break Raptor Camp at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey! Join us this March for an exciting three-day mini-camp discovering the different types of raptors and how we can help protect them in the wild. On each day, campers will explore different raptors and conservation issues and learn to be stewards of their environment. This exciting educational experience for 1st through 4th graders will include crafts, games, hands-on activities, and live raptor viewing at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey!
Wednesday: Today campers will get to know the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey and learn all about how we care for our birds. Campers will get the chance to make bird enrichment and see a training session!
Thursday: Today campers will learn all about bird migration. They’ll become migrating birds in a migration game, make their own bird feeder, and finish the day with a field trip to a park to go birding!
Friday: On the final day we’ll learn about how Bald Eagles were brought back from the brink of extinction, and how we can all help keep them safe. Campers will also learn all about owls and dissect a real owl pellet!
Dates: March 19-21, 2025 for 1st through 4th graders
Camp is held 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., Wednesday – Friday. Cost is $150 per child.
NOW OFFERING AFTER CARE! After care will be offered from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. and will consist of lunch, recess, and a movie. Pickups after 3:15 p.m. will incur additional fees. After care cost is $30 for the three days.

Raptor Camp Summer 2025
Join us this June for an exciting week-long summer camp discovering the different types of raptors and how we can protect them in the wild. This summer’s theme is Myths and Legends, and we will discover all the amazing ways birds of prey have been viewed through the centuries. On each day of camp, campers will explore different raptors and conservation issues and learn to be stewards of their environment. This exciting educational experience for rising 1st through 6th graders will include crafts, games, hands-on activities, and live raptor viewing at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey!
Monday: The first day of camp we’ll explore Norse mythology and falcons. We’ll learn all about migration and become migrating birds ourselves.
Tuesday: Today campers will discover the amazing world of owls and how they hunt silently. We’ll dissect an owl pellet and learn about Athena’s owls in Greek mythology, and even have our own Olympic games!
Wednesday: Today campers will get to know the vultures, Pharaoh’s sacred birds! They’ll get to become raptor caretakers themselves as they make enrichment for the birds. Plus, we’ll go on a birding excursion to a local park.
Thursday: Today is all about eagles as we learn about the importance of water and the raptors that rely on it. We’ll make our own Roman Eagle Standards and get a little wet with some water games.
Friday: What is cryptozoology? On the last day we’ll learn about the birds that might or might not be. We’ll learn about what beaks are good for what type of food, and even invent our very own raptor!

June 2nd through 6th, 2025 for rising 1st through 3rd graders
June 16th through 20th, 2025 for rising 4th through 6th graders
Camp is held 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday – Friday. Cost is $200 per child.
NOW OFFERING AFTER CARE! After care will be offered from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and will consist of a centering cool down and a movie. Pickups after 4 p.m. will incur additional fees. After care cost is $50 for the week.
