David Fitzpatrick, Raptor Care Assistant
David Fitzpatrick has been at the center in many avenues since 2014. David started as a volunteer while attending Seminole State College and is continuing to pursue his degree as a Veterinary Technician. His dedication to the center, caring for the birds, and willingness to try and learn new things gave him the ability to volunteer with in the raptor rehab area, the raptor trauma clinic, and talking with guests about the center’s resident raptors. David’s biggest draw when starting at the center was a love for eagles and that encourages him daily to further his knowledge to help the birds that he works with daily. David became a seasonal staff member back in 2021 helping the raptor trauma clinic during its busy baby season and then decided to further the centers bird care within the rehabilitation area as the centers part time rehabilitation specialist in 2022. When David isn’t at the center he enjoys listening to music, reading, watching movies, working out and hanging out with friends and family.
