Hank - Osprey
Bailey - Osprey
Bailey was hatched in a nest at Hog Island Audubon Camp in Maine. Her nest has a nest webcam on it, and people from all over the world electronically watch Bailey’s parents, Rachel and Steve, lay eggs and raise young every year. When Bailey was in the nest in 2017, she sustained a fractured right wing from a Great Horned Owl, but also survived a swarm of bees and a Bald Eagle attack. We were happy to help another Audubon Center by taking Bailey in when she needed continued rehabilitation and a permanent home.
