Welcome to Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, one of Central Florida’s best kept secrets.  Located in the city of Maitland and the Town of Eatonville, this urban environmental Audubon Center focuses on the rescue, medical treatment, rehabilitation and release of Florida’s raptors.  Open year round, Audubon Center for Birds of Prey offers educational opportunities for all ages.

For travelers and tourists wanting to experience real Florida, the Center provides an opportunity to view up close and personal Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Kites, Owls and Falcons; some of nature’s top predators. Visitors can learn about the unique adaptations of raptors, challenges they face and ways you can help.Take a walk to the Center’s gazebo for a short break and to view the Center’s Magic of Flight barn, which houses birds currently under rehabilitation, and the man-made wetland, a natural pollutant reducer that improves the water quality of Lake Sybelia.  Additional exhibits highlight conservation in Florida, climate change, and Eagle Eyes on the Environment, a behind the scenes look into rehabilitation.

We hope you enjoy your time with us and visit again soon.
